Marco Lombardini
Marco Lombardini was born in Cretèil in France on 5 April 1967.
He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna with a degree in Fine Arts .
He has worked in the interior design and drawing industry by performing various wall painting works for some Italian Hospitals in Rimini and Cesena, and public and private organizations.
He works mainly in the field of school publishing and children’s books.
Marco has worked for several Italian and foreign publishing houses, including:
Ed. RCS, Ed. Erickson , Ed. Il capitello, Ed Pearson.
He is fascinated by almost all traditional and digital media in which He uses a lot of these designs to explore new stylistic characters and content for a particular project. When he thinks he has enough material like sketches, photos, realistic references, etc. his next step is to create a color palette with water colors or gouache on paper and on different possible textures or transparencies. The final step in the beginning of any project he does is to import his sketches and any other relevant materials into his Wacom Cintiq graphic tablet and then he develops the project with Photoshop, Illustrator or Sketchbook Pro.
